Magical Chicken Soup

The boys at my house haven't been feeling up to snuff and frankly it seem like so many people around me these last couple of weeks have been getting sick. That's no FUN and if you're like me, it's a real bummer being out of commission. Today I made my Magical Chicken Soup and thought I'd better share it for those of you who need some healing yourself!

Magic is all about the intention and the time you set aside to carefully craft with LOVE. Truly be present while you are making the soup and you will feel the healing power you have inside of you.

1 large organic free range chicken breast sliced into thin strips and pieces

2 large handfuls ( about 3 cups) roughly chopped organic lacinato kale

2 large or 3 smaller sized organic carrots finely chopped

4 small fist sized organic yukon gold potatoes peeled and cubed

3 cups filtered water

3 cups organic chicken broth ( I use Imagine)

2 Tablespoon olive oil

couple sprigs thyme

To make the Chicken Soup first add the olive oil to a large pot and heat on medium for a few minutes. Then add the potatoes stirring every now and again for 5 minutes. You want them to brown and crisp on the outside. Next add the carrots and a big pinch of salt and stir frequently for 2 minutes. Now add the kale and stir continuously for a couple minutes, then scoot everything over in the pot so there is room to sear the chicken on the bottom of the pot. Put the chicken in the pot, grind some fresh pepper over it all and add a dash of salt. Stir the entire contents of the pot for a few minutes while saying a prayer like; Arch Angel Rafael, Thank you so much for caring for me everyday. Please help to heal and restore my/ our physical bodies. Allow your green ray to uplift and cleanse the food in this pot. Please banish this cold/flu and make it stop. Please activate my mind to heal and harmonize my entire being. Thank you.

I do a couple of Aums over the pot visualizing white light energy flowing through me and into my whole body. Take some deep breaths and feel the energy flow from your heart down your arms and into the spoon you are stirring with. Next up add the water and chicken stock, simmer with the lid on for 15 minutes then turn the heat to low and cook for 45 more minutes. Remove the thyme. Now you have a delicious remedy to care for you and your family. Remember Focus On Healing!
